1.What little things go wrong with this kidnapping?
-Susan didn't go in the right path
With David’s alibi?
-He had toput his grandma to sleep
With Betsy’s alibi?
-She got pulled over the cops and gots a ticket in Mark's car
2.In what way does Mr. Griffin earn the respect of his kidnappers?
-Because he was stubborn
3.Why is Susan especially upset about her part in the kidnapping?
-Because she didn't want him to get hurt, and while he was kinapped he yelled "run"to save her.
4.Why does Betsy say the following to Susan? “Honestly, I don’t understand you.”
-Because she didn't want to be apart of Mr.Griffin getting her and she just plain didn't want to be apart of it.
CHAPTER SEVEN

-They don't change there mind on anything

-Landon steals a paper, give it to Mark, and Mr. Griffin was going to expose them for cheating

-She told the officer that it was her boyfriend car and she got a ticket.
4.Why do you think Betsy participates in the kidnapping?
-Because she wants to be close to him and she wants him to think that she is cute.
5.Why do you suppose the incident with Shauna Berman is included?
-To show that Betsy was the one everyone liked that no one wanted to cross the wrong way.

-Betsy they were on the trail that they drag Mr.Griffin
7.How does Mr. Griffin’s tie appear here?
-Perfectly knatted
8.What does Mr. Griffin think of his kidnappers?
-Punks and think this whole thing is ridiculous

-"How does it feel to be on the ground"

-David and Jeff Because Mark and Betsy want to hear him beg forgiveness
CHAPTER EIGHT
1.Explain, with examples from the story, how David begins to see Susan as a real person.
-She is feeling guilty about kidnapping, cause he told her to leave while he dealing with the kidnapping
2.Why does David doubt that Mark and Jeff are going to release Mr. Griffin after the game?
-Because they have a game and they might not come back to see about him
3.How does David know Mr. Griffin is dead?
-Cause when they took of the blindfold his eyes are wide open unblinding
4.What is the implied but never stated cause of Mr. Griffin’s death?
-The pills that they found he need to take them if he didn't he would die
CHAPTER NINE
1.Betsy and Susan both have fathers to turn to for help. Why do you suppose Susan wants to go to her father for help, but Betsy doesn’t suggest going to her father?
-She trusted her dad
2.What two things does Mark say that they need to do to be safe?
-They need to get rid of the body and the car
3.How does Mark convince Susan they need to bury the body
-He tells her that they will take care of everything
4.How does Mark's father die?
- His dad was home sleep and there house caught on fire
5.What does David's father have to do with his decision to go along with Mark's plan to bury the body?
-They wanted to play it off like Mr. Griffin left like David's dad.
6.Why does Mark comfort Susan?
-So she want feel bad and tell her mom.
